So is Airsoft a sport? Many believe it just a game that little kids play in their backyard and that it’s nothing near to a sport. Others like myself, believe and know it’s not your average backyard game. We take it to the next level. From scrimmages, to CQB, Airsoft is something that is taken very seriously. Airsoft is a sport based around military style combat, commonly referred to as milsim. A majority of airsoft scenarios are based around participants trying eliminate their opponents with plastic bbs shot from airsoft guns. For the most part airsoft guns are designed to be close replicas of real firearms, the most popular being M16 and AK47.

Unlike paintball, the bbs used in airsoft do not leave a visible mark to indicate that a player has been hit. So to determine if they have been hit, players use what is called the honor system. But how do you know when you are hit? The fact that there is no way to accurately tell that someone has been hit make alot of players believe that this system is inherently flawed. The key in this sport besides being respectfull and safe, is all about being truthful and honest. An airsoft rifle is not believed by many non-airsofters to be very powerful, but experienced players beg to differ.

Many people wonder about the pain involved when being hit by an airsoft rifle. Most airsoft fields have a specific feet per second cap, and a majority of airsoft weapons fire between 200-400 feet per second. At a moderate distance of 200-300 feet per second, shots can hurt, but since most airsoft players wear a combination of camouflage and tactical gear the bbs rarely leave a mark. Regardless, it is strongly suggested that anyone using an airsoft gun should have on some type of wrap around eye protection, even if they are just test firing guns in their back yard.

It has been determined that airsoft is a sport invented in Japan to appease gun collectors who were not allowed to possess real firearms. These guns look and feel like the real thing, which is why this sport has become so popular. They are so realistic that a variety of military and law enforcement programs use them for training purposes. Major Leauge Airsoft has been around since the 1980’s. Setting up games and events in all around the world for players of Airsoft. In conclusion, whether you think it is or not, Airsoft is indeed a sport and one that will continue to grow in realism and popularity.

It’s amazing how many people are always making unnecessary and hateful comments about my videos. Here I’am trying to make reviews of airsoft guns, promoting Airsoft Carolina and its affiliates, and there is always somebody saying, “No your wrong” or “This video is stupid”. Personally I could care less, but if you dont have anything good to say about the video or don’t like it, then why are you watching? Seriously, avoid getting humiliated by yourself because you cant spell and post dumb, uneeded comments. What is more astonishing is the fact that the people who are writing these comments, have no idea what they are even talking about! You want to know why? Either they dont bother to even watch the FULL video or, misunderstand what is being said. If this is the case, you really need to get yourself a hearing aid or stop being so lazy and watch the video completely. But they are many people who jump to conclusions and judge unaccordingly.

Society has always “followed the crowd” when it comes to well, pretty much everything. Just to name one of the many examples of this, we go back to the presidential election of Barack Obama and John McCain. I would not be suprise about the vast number of people who voted for Obama because he was African-American. Nor would for the amount of people who voted for McCain because he was white. But this article is not about the presidential election or race, gender, etc. It’s about the the people who think in this manner. People who jump straight to conlcusions and judgement in a matter of seconds but have no clue about what they are talking about. People who dont even take time to watch or listen about what really is going on and dont understand that voting for the future President does not depend on what color his/her skin is.

Sadly, I have people like this watching and commenting on my videos. Whether they say stuff about me or the video itself, these comments are always being writen. Therefore I want to take a little time and send these people a message. Get a life, get a job, get out of your house, learn to read and write, learn to spell and most importantly, grow up! They are my videos and my opinions. If you dont like my opinion, that is fine. You have a right to disagree. But please, don’t waste my time in having to delete your messages after I have told you in the video multiple times that if something stupid, hateful or whatever is commented, I just simply hit delete. So Just remember what I have written in this article kids, and that I’am crazyNCman and your not!
